Winter Night
04:40
|
|||
Under the moon into a night sky
the great mountains stand broad and high
The frost has come to these free lands
Snow storms and ice in the hard cold winter night
Through endless forests and the ancient trees
the icy wind goes with its speed and its chill
and to the shores of the great lakes
the deepest mist shrouds everything it meets
Into the rising darkness
Hear the blowing wind
the snow falling from up high
covering everything on my sight
Into the rising darkness
Above lands open and free
The snow falling from up high
Covering everything in the night
Hard dark winter night
Snow storm with thy huge bite
Thunders from the sky
Hard dark winter night
Snow storm with thy huge bite
Thunders from the sky
Winter does rule over these lands
And it’s domain will never end
All on its path will always bow down
Of the whole North it owns the mighty crown

Blood Eagle
05:27
|
|||
Riding through the ruins
Of an ancient realm lost
Swallowed by the woods
And forgotten by the mighty gods
A dead forgotten land
Once ruled by lords of war
There is no trace
Of the ancient people of the north
Lost in the mist
Of this mourning realm once brave
To the mountains’ roots
To the darkened throne before the grave
The warlord buried here
Condemned to a creepy death
Centuries ago
They drew a blood eagle on his back
A cruel punishment for those
Who’ve had the nerve to call themselves as gods on earth
His back was opened with the knives
And with the axes his ribs were teared up from the spine
The lungs were dragged upon his shoulders
Looking like a spread winged eagle, before his once faithful brothers
He did stay down on the knees
Suffering and bleeding, but until death he would not to scream
Tear up the skin!
Rip off the bones!
Spread wide the wings!
Let the blood eagle fly!
Tear up the skin!
Rip off the bones!
Spread wide the wings!
Let the blood eagle fly!

From The Ice
06:22
|
|||
Riding, from the frozen land of the North
In darkness, frost and death
The pale light of the Moon
Lights our nocturnal path
Far, the great realm of the Gods
Reflecting on our mortal world
Stronger than black stone
Our heathen blood shall burn
Ancient spirits guide our heart
We shall reach the realm frozen and dark
Warriors of the past, rise!
The end has come, from the ice we’ll rise again
Ancient spirits guide our heart
We shall reach the realm frozen and dark
Warriors of the past, rise!
The end has come, from the ice we’ll rise again
The end has come, from the ice we’ll rise again
Riding, from the frozen land of the North
In darkness, frost and death
The pale light of the Moon
Lights our nocturnal path
Far, the great realm of the Gods
Reflecting on our mortal world
Stronger than black stone
Our heathen blood shall burn

Glory And Blood
07:02
|
|||
In the cold morning of the north,
When the forest still sleeps
The damp breeze bites the bones
The fog all around between the trees
The men sleep a light sleep,
For in the morning death will awaits
Desire of glory in their dreams
And the blood shall burn in their veins
It’s a day of glory and blood
For their own land they shall fight
And break upon them like waves against the boat
Every man who stands out there is quite prepared to die
Deep! Through the icy morning mist
Hundreds of brave men
Wielding mighty swords and shields
With proud and bravery they will stand
Singing hymns of war
And drums sound like thunders
The brave men who came from the shore
They will fight, as they’re all blood brothers
A day of war
A day of war
It’s a day of glory and blood
For their own land they shall fight
And break upon them like waves against the boat
Every man who stands out there is quite prepared to die
In the cold morning of the north
The sun shines high in the sky
All those who died have shown their worth
And all those who live shall never die
To the roots of the hills
Hundreds of corpses lay on the field
Now with no sword nor shield
The men shall return through the trees
A day of war
A day of war
It’s been a day of glory and blood
For their own land they’ll always fight
And break upon them like waves against the boat
Every man who stood out there was quite prepared to die

Ancient Land
05:21
|
|||
Far from these lands, so far away
Where the mountains are white and the sky is so grey
The wind of the north howls in the night
Like a huge wolf who swallowed the sun
Beyond the hills, down to the shores
Where the waves of the sea are so black and so cold
The mist of the morn blinds my sight
Like a huge wall that blocks my path
Hills of the north
Over landscapes so wild
The ancient kingdom of frost
And the aurora’s lights shine up high
Through the dark wood, beneath the trees
Where the shadows hide and the ground’s full of leaves
Two wolves on a rock, watch over me
Like pure spirits proudly and free
Over the plains, under the sky
Where the rivers flow free and the pale sun still shines
the ravens fly high, while I ride my way
to lands unknown, for I’m not here to stay
Hills of the north
Over landscapes so wild
The ancient kingdom of frost
And the aurora’s lights shine up high
My ancient land
So wild and free
Great realm of north
Of the ice and the snow
My ancient land
Of warriors once great
Who fought countless wars
To protect this their home

The Seer
05:33
|
|||
The ancient people who ruled the lands of the north
They used to tell the prophecies
of the seer who warned us all
She who, frightening, told about the end of time
She who told the tragic events
that will take us all until we’ll die
A long winter cold
Which would last many years
Darkness shall surround us all
Pouring rain and sharp winds
The sun shall no longer rise in the sky
The stars shall fall down and all shall die
There shall not be any light
It will be the end of our ancient kind
Terrifying earthquakes on our lands there will be
Darker chasms like sword wounds
into the human flesh so deep
Whole massive mountains shall be all teared down
Ancient forests shall be swallowed
All of what we know shall burn down
Overwhelming floods
Which will sink fields and hills
By the seer we have been warned
Now the end of time is here
The sun shall no longer rise in the sky
The stars shall fall down and all shall die
There shall not be any light
It will be the end of our ancient kind

Stones And Frost
07:42
|
|||
Clouds in the air, the snow on the ground
a creepy silence is here all around
Under the moon, up in the sky
Mighty mountains standing so high
Snow falling down, drifted by wind
I can feel the cold on my skin
Up from the depths of the blackened skies
Reflecting the light of pale stars up high
Through the woods, beyond the ice
Hundreds old trees in a winter night
Glorious days of death, blood and steel
Now they are gone, as the snow does in spring
Here was the throne, made of ice and stones
Of an ancient king, buried alone
A bloodthirsty tyrant ruled these lands
His enemies’ blood used to stain his hands
In the blowing wind you can still hear
The clashing of swords and broken shields
The bloodstained snow, that once was red
Lying under the feet of many thousands men
In the mountains’ shadow were hundred wars
Men against men, died in the snow
Much of what was this kingdom is lost
For everything now here is stones and frost
The morning comes with a biting cold
There is no sun behind the clouds
Up in the sky, two ravens fly over me
Watching over lakes, woods and fields
To northern lands, I keep up my ride
beyond the high mountainsides
I ride to the edge from a faraway land
From which I will come home again
